Blog - Color Theory and Emotional Effects

.) Color is the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light. The way it effects emotions is that certain colors can have more effect than others. Brighter colors can give a more up beat and happier emotion compared to a darker one. The person feels what colors are trying to say, because you are looking at colors being reflected.

.) What I found to be most fascinating about color is how it all is reflected and that is what we look at. Even when you are looking at building like the ones from Venice, you see the color of the building which has its painted color but the water reflection gives it a different look that resembles a even different emotion.

.) What made the biggest regard of color is how someone whose painting can be affected by the colors within it. You paint or create something with emotions throughout it, and you sought out to make it right, by drawing what you remember and felt. They can also change the colors throughout the whole process to adjust it to make it more of what they were feeling.

.) What I found the most important about this video was how what was going on in the world effected their paintings and emotions. The revolution, and renaissance was going on which had people with all their ideas and feelings being put into their works.
